McCanless Pottery Living in a community with so many talented potters, it is hard to choose one that stands out from all of the rest. Each potter has their own style and flare, likes and dislikes. Check out Will McCanless and his works. I am quite sure you will agree with me that this young man's work does have something very special to offer. One of my favorite potters in my neighborhood. Intricate details and designs. Visit his website or shop today for a real treat.

Abela Body Care Want some soap that will make you feel good and smell incredible. Made by an incredible lady. Great stuff. I am a true fan! Check out this blog spot to appreciate all about this lady. If you like what you read and see, you will love these soaps and all she has to offer.

Maggie's Farm Looking for a wedding designer with a cutting edge flair for style. Exquisite bouquets, centerpieces, and party favors are Margaret's specialty. Just review her website to see some of the latest floral designs she has created with exotic flowers, foliage and of course orchids. She is located in the Sandhills area convenient to Pinehurst and Southern Pines events. Furniture market inquires are welcome. Seagrove Orchids provides many of her cut orchid stems, flowers and potted orchids. Very nice people to work with.

Liquidambar Studio of Art "Photography to Sculpture and all the wet paint in between" Kitty and John Mecham are nice people with positive attitudes. I had the privledge of doing a couple of pottery festivals with them and glad I got to spend some time admiring their work. Purchase from Kitty's artfire studio and http://www.artfire.com/users/liquidambar a portion of her sales go to www.cptigers.org=Carolina Tiger Rescue.

Hobby Greenhouse Association I have been a member of the hobby greenhouse association for about 15 years. It is a great group of people that share greenhouse stories, tips for growing various plants, including orchids, ideas and ways to save money. I learn something new with every issue. To visit their website and get a feel for what they are all about visit the link I provide.

In my opinion, this site is a work of art. Greg Allikas is a professional Orchid Photographer and the photographer for the West Palm Beach AOS judging center. They are very fortunate to have him. His site is a wonderful resource for orchid species photos and much more. If you had a lousy day, go here and it will make you feel better!

The American Orchid Society I want you to become a member today and be a part of the orchid craze. Not sure whether you want to join the American Orchid Society? Check out their website often and see what is going on in the orchid world. Show me your membership card or give me your number and you will receive a 5% discount on all items purchased except for Seagrove Pottery.

Carolina Judging Center Wonder what it takes to achieve an AOS award? Thinking about the idea of volunteering as an American Orchid Society judge? When in Winston Salem North Carolina, the Golden Apple Specialty Food Store and Restaurant is worth a visit. Fine people give excellent service all around. Gourmet food and fine cutlery is available. The fresh coffee beans give the store a fantastic aroma and the great smells from the kitchen are delightful. I have an open invitation to The Golden Apple to sell orchids. Friends of this type are hard to come by and worth their weight in GOLD. Many thanks to Winston Salem's Golden Apple. The Golden Apple, 3458 Robinhood Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 336-768-1505
