Ease of growth and flower production makes this a perfect orchid for all growers. Blooms occur from early summer through early winter, lemony yellow in color and pleasingly fragrant.  This Cymbidum does not need the chilling period required to flower but does tolerate temps down to 45F. I grow with temps ranging from 64F to 90F with no problem with the summer heat in North Carolina. Considered a miniature type, it is easy to bloom. As for Cymbidum culture, provide open bark mix or spaghnum moss mixture and when just approaching dryness, water thoroughly.  Even when not in bloom, the variegated leaves provide more beauty to this excellent orchid.  Recommended for all orchids growers.
