The Paph princess.  Found in Vietnam and China. We grow this orchid species in medium shade and provide open bark and rock mix for growing. The beautiful mottled foliage makes this orchid beautiful and of interest when not in flower. Fragrant blooms are soft pink with darker pink pouches; a highlight is the shield shaped staminode highlighted in bright yellow. Easy to grow if kept slightly moist between waterings.  One of the few fragrant Paphiopedilums. Bloom fragrance is like a bowl of fresh berries.
